Company

Cadica's adventure in the production of hangtags and labels started in 1974 in Carpi, one of the historical areas in the textile industry of northern Italy.

Our skills include a variety of experience and an ability to meet customers' needs, interpret their ideas and provide original advice and solutions. These come together to shape Cadica's Brand Identity Solution: consulting, graphic design, production and logistics for a dynamic, quick, flexible service and quality products, in line with market and fashion trends.

Certifications

We believe that the best way to gain and maintain trust is to provide products that meet the promises made to the customer. Those who know us have long appreciated these qualities; nonetheless, we felt it was crucial to gain some certifications, including voluntary certifications, in order to safeguard our partners.

  • Oeko Tex® Leather Standard class II certified products available upon request
This is a very restrictive standard that requires severe limits for more than 100 toxic or harmful substances for human and environmental health.
Cadica LEATHER STANDARD by OEKO TEX includes labels in real leather and labels in recycled leather fibers.

  • Oeko Tex® Standard 100 class I and class II certified products available upon request
It certifies the absence of allergenic in our products, irritating and harmful substances for health in general. The testing for harmful substances is based on a scientifically founded criteria catalogue, with more than 100 individual parameters. We use the OEKO-TEX® criteria as an important additional instrument for quality assurance of the items we provide.

the quality objectives and the pursuit of mutual satisfaction in relationship with customers and suppliers.

  • FSC certified products available upon request
Products realized with cellulose coming from forests managed in a responsible way, for achieving an environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial and economically viable use of natural resources and provision of ecosystem services, to avoid deterioration or misuse of such resources, or of the ecosystems or surrounding communities.

  • BSCI Business Social Compliance Initiative
This is a Code of Conduct made of values and principles. BSCI implements the principles of international labour standards protecting workers’ rights and other significant universal guidelines like the UN Charter for Human Rights. By complying to the BSCI rules, we want to highlight our commitment and involvement in being respectful of human rights and all of the principles included in this code.

  • Code Of Ethical
We have developed and introduced an Ethical Code of Conduct: we fully respect and expect all our branches and supply chain respect as well. We based our requirements mainly on internationally agreed standards such as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

  • REACH Certificate of Compliance
It is a document certifying that a product is compliant with the EU REACH regulation (EC) No 1907/2006. It can be a testing report or statement issued by a third-party testing organization. It could also be a self-declaration.

  • GOTS Global Organic Textile Standard
Cadica products are created with GOTS certified materials.
The worldwide leading textile processing standard for organic fibres, including ecological and social criteria. It is reffered to the entire textile supply chain.

  • GRS Global Recycle Standard
Cadica products are created with GRS certified materials.
This is an international, voluntary, full product standard that sets requirements for third-party certification of recycled content, chain of custody, social and environmental practices and chemical restrictions.

  • The Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) is a global not-for-profit organisation and the largest cotton sustainability programme in the world. BCI exists to make global cotton production better for the people who produce it, better for the environment it grows in and better for the sector’s future.

  • Big things often have small beginnings: Cadica keeps alive its 'Ethical Choice' project reforesting its virtual forest and planting new trees through Tree-Nation planting projects.
