Iskool “Denim Awards 2014-2015”

Cadica took part in the “Denim Awards 2014-2015” project, which ended on 2nd July 2015. The final stage of this second edition of the ISKO I-Skool contest took place in Milan.

The Blue Starry Night awarded the young winners of the contest. Its topic this year has been the future of the denim in all its form and applications. An event with a double scope: to acknowledge creative talents and the skills of the young people that want to take up a career in the marketing field. More than 40 thousand people submitted to the contest.

This project involved some of the best schools in the world, which are benchmarks for the fashion.

The participant were 27 students and 7 tutors.

Four 4 months the students had been actively involved in the creation of an exclusive line of denim garments, which was then produced for a limited edition series and presented to the international press.

To the most brilliant student Cadica offered the opportunity to work as interns within the company and collaborate in the development of a “capsule collection” under the supervision of the Art Director, Loretta Perico.

These were the students specially picked for their creativity: Katarina Frick / ESMOD, Niccolò Pasqualetti / IUAV, Tobia Cecchin / IUAV, Marta Reffo / IUAV. They had the opportunity to develop some pages of the new Cadica collection together with the Art Director, Loretta Perico.
